Accessabilty is all about being able to do things that people who have little or no sight loss have no problem with. Computing, for example, can be a problem to people with low vision. Anything that can aid and assist will be posted about here on VWS.
There are so many different conditions and forms of visual impairment that it is impossible to setup a web site that will be easy for eberyone to access. I have set up the VWS in a simple form so it is as accesable to as many people as possible. I've kept the font regular with high contrast colours and made sure nothing is too small. There are a number of ways to make veiwing a compter screen (or using a screen reader) which I will cover in future posts.
If you have any problems please contact me to let me know and I will try and deal with any isues.Equipment suppliers:
